Upload season 3: When will the third season of Upload come out? Amazon Studios has been putting a lot of effort into its own TV shows over the past few years, and Greg Daniels Upload is one of its best. Robbie Amell plays Nathan Brown, a computer engineering graduate who, when he dies, has his mind sent to a virtual afterlife.
In the first two seasons, we see all the crazy things Nathan does in his new world while also trying to keep his relationship with his girlfriend going in the real world. Upload goes from being a simple 30-minute comedy to a look at how a digital afterlife would affect our society and how it would lead to a whole new industry because of corporate greed, microtransactions, voting rights, and even cloning. Its like someone put Ready Player One by Steven Spielberg and The Island by Michael Bay in a blender.
But has Upload been picked up for a third season after two? What will happen to the body of Nathans clone? Will Nathans mother send all of her children into the Freeyond? Upload Season 3 Release Date
We dont know when Upload season 3 will come out as of August 2022, but it will probably be in the first quarter of 2023. In May 2022, the streaming service finally confirmed that the show would be back for a third season. Vernon Sanders, who is in charge of global TV at Amazon, said that the show was a real hit before confirming the news in a statement.
The series keeps making connections and bringing up new ideas for the future of technology and people, he said. With Gregs unique take on comedy, the dynamic creative team, and talented actors, theyve made a globally relevant series that were all very proud to bring back for another season for our customers.
Amazon just said that season 3 of Upload is in the works, so there isnt a confirmed date for the shows release just yet. But even if they start filming right away, it probably wont be on the streamer until at least the first quarter of 2023. So it will be a while before we see Nathan again, but at least its coming.
Greg Daniels also said that he was excited to get started on the next series. He said, Im thrilled to continue the story of Nathan and Nora and the other people who live in Lakeview and near-future America as they try to have fun and do the right thing in both the real and virtual worlds. It will be interesting to see what kind of social commentary he makes through comedy in the next set of episodes
Upload Season 3 Plot
At the end of season 2 of Upload, there are a few plot twists, and it looks like Nathans (after)life is going to get a lot more complicated in season 3. Nathan can download himself into a body that Ingrid grows for him, but they break up when he finds out that shes been lying to him about being in Lakeview when shes been using a hug suit.
Nathans new body starts to bleed from the nose in the last few minutes of the season 2 finale. So, his body might die at some point in season 3, but this is where things will get messy for everyone. Nathan finally asked Nora out on a date, and they met on the hyperloop in Los Angeles Naughty. But Ingrid is making another clone of Nathan so that she and Nathan can have a baby, which is wrong on many levels.
But hold on! There are several Nathans! When Nathans intern Tinsley thinks he has been erased, she downloads a backup copy of his mind. This means that the brave computer graduate could have three different looks in season 3. Thats right because it wont be hard at all.
Upload Season 3 Possible Cast
So, who is in Uploads third season? Well, most of the Lakeview and Beyond stars are coming back for the third time. So, yes, Robbie Amell is coming back as Nathan Brown. He played Nathan Brown in The Tomorrow People and The Flash.
But it looks like when Season 3 comes out, he will play more than one version of the computer engineering graduate. Allegra Edwards will play Nathans girlfriend, Ingrid Kannerman.
After that cliffhanger, it will be interesting to see how their relationship changes. Andy Allo, who plays Nora Antony, is the third person in the complicated love triangle. Kevin Bigley will be back at Lakeview as Luke, who is another digital soul.

Mackenzie Cardwell, who plays the intern Tinsley, is also likely to return since she is the one who brings Nathans backup mind back to life at the end of season 2. Season 2 just ended, so an Official Upload Season 3 Trailer isnt ready yet. And Amazon Prime Videos hasnt said anything official about whether or not the deal will be renewed. But in the second half of 2023, a Trailer should come out.
