Michael Bubl Apologized For Not Speaking French During His Montreal Concert And Compensated His Fans

Michael Bubl was Feeling Good during his performance last night at the Bell Centre in Montreal. When it came to his lack of French, though, the Canadian singer was not in such a good mood (despite that French touch on his last name).

During an emotional moment with the crowd, Bubl apologized for his inability to speak the language, but he made up for it in the most Montreal way possible.

After performing the hit songs Sway, Havent Met You Yet, and Home, Bubl utilized the remainder of his set to communicate his love and thanks to his fans. Although he would have preferred to do it in French, he was unable to do so and is not proud of this fact.

Bubl told the audience, I truly apologize because it gives me so much humiliation as a Canadian that I cant come here and talk in French because I wish I could. But I want you to know that even though my words are in English, they are filled with a great deal of affection, respect, and admiration for you. Thank you for pardoning my ignorance in not learning as I should have he went on.

After apologizing to the fans, Bubl made amends by donning a Montreal Canadiens sweater.

Thank you so much for making this evening so enjoyable. I wish to demonstrate to you via my actions how I actually feel about you, and Id like to thank my dear buddy Brendan Gallagher for putting this together Michael remarked before receiving a number 11 jersey, which prompted a round of applause from the crowd.

Shortly thereafter, the music for Always On My Mind began, and Bubl returned to singing while dressed in red, white, and blue.
