Why Did Jeff Garlin Leave The Goldbergs?
After an internal inquiry into his alleged on-set wrongdoing, Jeff Garlin left The Goldbergs. According to individuals from The Goldbergs who spoke to Deadline, he was very verbally and emotionally abusive. The article also claimed that after a staff member complained about Garlins vulgarity, he allegedly wrapped his arms around her and continuously yelled vagina in her face.
Someone said that he verbally abused a married couple who worked on the program, which is another instance of his unpleasant conduct on the set. According to a source, Deadline Why do you always get in my way, he [Garlin] said at her. Once they had finished blocking for a scene, she yelled, Get the fk out of my way, as she was making her way down the ramp on the set. She looked about, perplexed. The actor allegedly responded, Tell your wife to get the fk out of my way, before turning to the womans husband.
Jeff told Vanity Fair on December 3, 2021, that he had not been sacked from the program but that there had been some HR investigations concerning his behavior on the set. Almost immediately after, Deadline announced his resignation, and the actor hasnt been on The Goldbergs since.
