TikTok’s three-minute video capability was debuted last year. There’s now a new, lengthier option available.
Using a new function, TikTok users throughout the world may now record 10-minute long films.
Yes, that’s correct. Ten-minute films will start appearing on your For You page in the near future, despite a mixed response.
Do you wish to take part in the extended videos? There is a way to achieve this…

HOW TO MAKE 10 MINUTE TIKTOK VIDEOS
Follow these procedures to create ten-minute TikTok videos:
- Tap the ‘Record’ button in the bottom bar of TikTok to start recording.
- There are four timer settings available above the pink camera button: 15s, 60s, 3m, and 10m.
- For the next ten metres, simply slide across. Now is the time to record or upload your TikTok video.
If you don’t see the 10m option, the functionality isn’t yet accessible to you.

TIKTOK 10 MIN VIDEOS COMING FOR ALL USERS
According to TikTok’s response to Tech Crunch, the feature is now available to all users worldwide.
You may expect to see the 10m video option come in the next weeks if it hasn’t already.
For the first time ever, users will be able to submit movies that are up to 10 minutes long, which TikTok hopes will open the door to even more creative possibilities for its users.
When the functionality is ready, an alert will show in the app’s main window.
It will say “Upload videos up to 10 minutes long from your device” under the heading “upload lengthier movies.”
Make sure you’re using the most recent version of the app and that you’ve checked for updates.

SURPRISINGLY FEATURE GETS MIXED REACTIONS
New ten-minute videos on TikTok haven’t pleased many users, who fear they’ll fill up their feeds with extended clips.
why do i need to watch a 10 min video on tiktok that’s what youtube is for

However, some TikTok artists believe that longer videos are beneficial to those who shoot things like food recipes, cosmetic tutorials, and educational sessions.
Curious to know everyone’s thought on 10 minute videos.
I just got this notification.
Have a huge feeling TikTok are trying to slowly introduce an ad in this 10 minute video to incentivize creators and help them monetize their channel. pic.twitter.com/2fdIiUAOYn

It’s also difficult to monetize short videos, so lengthier ones will allow producers to truly gain money from their efforts.
In contrast, TikTok does not currently have an effective monetisation structure in place that gives users the same earning potential as on YouTube.
