On the couch, Danica Patrick has shared some of her fondest memories with boyfriend Carter Comstock.
After splitting from Aaron Rodgers in July, the former NASCAR driver said she and her new partner never run out of things to say to one other.
In a recent interview with “Extra,” Patrick, 39, said, “I had this sort of huge vision for finding someone I could just sit on the sofa with and, like, drink a glass of wine and just simply come up with any topic at all, simple or sophisticated.”
“I’ve always thought how wonderful it would be to sit on the couch and talk for hours with someone, and that’s exactly what we do.”
Patrick announced her relationship with the Freshly co-founder Instagram-official earlier this month.
“Beach workouts are fun on their own, but even better with you,” Patrick said beside a photo of Comstock kissing her on the temple.
According to Us Weekly, Patrick and Comstock both have business links to Beam, a CBD health brand, and were set up by the company’s co-founders.
Patrick notably dated Rodgers for two years before to her romance with Comstock.
Rodgers, 37, and Woodley, 29, visited Disney World in Florida recently. This month, the quarterback was one of the celebrity guest hosts on “Jeopardy!”
Patrick recently discussed her relationship with Comstock with Extra, revealing that she and her lover can converse for hours. “We both enjoy traveling and are quite open-minded, and I had this grand picture of meeting someone with whom I could simply sit on the couch and have a glass of wine and talk about anything, simple or complicated,” she explained.
“Just say, ‘Let’s talk about a tree,’ and spend two hours talking about trees,” Patrick added. “I’ve always thought how wonderful it would be to sit on the couch and talk for hours with someone, and that’s exactly what we do.”
During an interview on The Tamron Hall Show in March, the Pretty Intense podcast host explained what she was looking for in a relationship. “You know what you want when you know what you don’t want,” she explained.
“But, you know what you don’t want, and you know what you want,” Patrick continued. “So, maybe it’s not that they have their job cut out for them, but that they’ll be an exceptionally high-quality person with a lot of boxes to check.”
Patrick was previously linked to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but the relationship ended in July 2020. In February, Rodgers announced his engagement to Shailene Woodley.
Endorsements and donations: Patrick is represented by the IMG talent agency and Excel Sports Management. AirTran Airways, Secret, Nationwide Insurance, Tissot, Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, Peak Antifreeze, William Rast, Hot Wheels, GoDaddy.com, Nature’s Bakery, and Lyft have all used her in commercials.
Patrick encourages healthy living and collaborated with Williams Sonoma on the No Kid Hungry campaign. She is the celebrity spokesperson for DRIVE4COPD, a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease awareness campaign for which her grandmother died.
She became a featured writer for The Players’ Tribune in 2014, after being drawn to founder and former shortstop Derek Jeter’s vision of allowing athletes to write and manage their own content.
Entrepreneurship: Patrick has her own wine label, Somnium, which translates to “dream” in Latin. The Somnium Vineyard is located in the Howell Mountain AVA in St Helena, California, and spans 24 acres (9.7 hectares) at elevations ranging from 1,000 to 1,375 feet (305 to 419 m).
Patrick has her own athleisure line, “Warrior by Danica Patrick,” which she designed in collaboration with G-III Apparel Group and titled after Native American mythology she learned about while growing up in Arizona.
