Customers waiting for refunds should expect "action" from Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins, the world-famous life coach, has vowed “fast action” a second time after one of his closest allies refused to issue refunds to a rising number of irate customers.

It was “unknown to us” that promoter Success Resources had not granted refunds to some consumers nearly two years later, according to the team of the famed motivational speaker.

When COVID-19 forced the cancellation of Robbin’s gigs in Sydney and the Gold Coast in 2020, several buyers paid upwards of $10,000 for a ticket.

When Simona Damyanova from Melbourne begged for her money back after paying just under $2000 for a ticket, she was offered another event.

“They owe me money and they owe me an event, and I’m not getting either,” the 31-year-old explained.

“Success Resources managed to ruin something that had been so thrilling, important, inspiring, and empowering for me.

“Emails and bank disagreements have been a nightmare. I’ve got a lot of correspondence that’s going nowhere.”

Success Resources, which continued to advertise upcoming events despite our request for feedback, had a similar experience with A Current Affair.

We were also introduced to a Facebook page where hundreds of Australians are reportedly requesting refunds from Success Resources’ Australian subsidiary.

“It just doesn’t seem to make any sense, why would you keep the money if there’s no event planned?” asked Sydney resident Diksha Sadhwani, who paid $4000 for a ticket.

The 35-year-old is a huge Robbins fan and was looking forward to seeing him perform live for the fourth time.

She said, “He’s fantastic; he changed my life.”

Ms Sadhwani said she would not book another presentation through Success Resources, but she would not give up on the life coach.

Jennifer Connelly, Tony Robbins’ spokeswoman, issued the following statement:

“Mr. Robbins has always expected Success Resources to fulfill all refund claims promptly. The fact that some consumers have yet to receive reimbursements is shocking to us, and it will be rectified as soon as possible by Success Resources.”
